Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce
I love Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce. Seriously, I LOVE IT! It really can be used with everything you eat. It pairs amazingly well with everything from Zucchini Fries to Chicken Wings or even as a stand-alone dressing. As a bonus, Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce is super easy to make! Here it is shown with our zucchini fries:
Only Two Ingredients
Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce only needs two ingredients: ranch dressing and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. If you want to make your own ranch dressing, that gives this sauce a little extra deliciousness or you can buy pre-made ranch dressing too. I like this one best (on Amazon http://amzn.to/2xCYgVm).
What are Chipotle Peppers?
So, what exactly are Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce? Chipotle peppers are jalapeños that have been allowed to ripen from green to red and then have been dried and smoked. This obviously accounts for the smoky heat that accompanies this pepper. Once the peppers have been smoked, they are usually reconstituted and canned in a thick red sauce made from vinegar, onions, tomatoes, and spices. Check out Cook’s Info for more information on Adobo Sauce or Chipotle Peppers.
Making the Sauce
Now, back to the sauce. Simply add 12 ounces of Ranch Dressing with 1-2 Adobo Peppers and a spoonful of adobo sauce and mix in a food processor until combined and smooth. If you like it with a little more heat, go ahead and add an extra pepper. If you like it mild, use only one pepper. It is so easy to customize to your taste. Plus it tastes like you have spent hours perfecting the spice blend!
