Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe

Four Kids and a Chicken recently wrote one of my favorite recipes for Smoked Pulled Pork on the Grill. This recipe is not only great fresh, it can be frozen and used later. Today, we made some pulled pork sliders using our leftover smoked pulled pork and some mustard greens fresh from the garden. I put in some affiliate links to Amazon for your convenience.

Pulled Pork Sliders

These sliders are a great recipe for your leftovers. Another way to plan this meal is when you are hosting a large Christmas or Easter lunch. Have this slider recipe in the back of your mind to eat up all those delicious leftovers before people go home.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Making pulled pork sliders is very easy. Take your pulled pork out of the fridge together with cutting your Hawaiian bread in half like a sandwich and washing your fresh greens. The best greens to use are fresh mustard. The spicy flavor will add a nice flavor together with the meat.

Mustard greens mixed in with other lettuces from our garden.

Layer the spicy mustard greens on the sweet Hawaiian bread and pick only the best pulled pork from your leftovers to rest on top of the greens.

Fresh refrigerator pickles should layer on the meat topped off with a dab of barbecue sauce.

Refrigerator pickles

Finish the sandwich with the top of the Hawaiian bread and serve it with a side of your refrigerator pickles and salad. Take a picture, share it on Facebook and Instagram and make sure to tag us. These pulled pork sliders would also be good with our Caprese Salad or Cheese Curd Chili if you want something a little hardier.
